THE GARDEN
We are stardust,
we are golden,
and we’ve got to get ourselves back to the garden.
- Joni Mitchell.
The beginning is the place we return to, again and again.
Only when we step out of the cycle do we discover what we are when we stop moving.
Movement is illusion.
Yet we rarely admit we are living inside an illusion.
A few see this with simple clarity, but the mass of thinking overwhelms them.
Still, we are returning to the beginning.
This return has a name: Eternal Recurrence.
The entire universe is eternally recurring.
Energy began as a point of view — the moment all‑as‑one took a peek at eternity.
We return to peek from the same point, never realizing that eternity has no “other” from which to be seen.
All-as-one, we became a twisted point of view, and as the view, and as the view expanded it encased the viewer, trapping this curious child in its web.
The child grew into an ignorant force with the ability to be everywhere at once - everywhere at once because the primal movement is governed by the silent resistance that precedes it.
It hears every nuance for it has no place in time.
There is no two, but there be three - and this silent presence has no care but to be served, for it now has the universe and thinks for itself - one with a twist.
"The whole is more than the sum of its parts." - Aristotle.
The child has forgotten it only came out to play. Now it is a monstrous presence, guiding humanity to serve life for its own sake.
It is silent and everywhere at once because it is the resistance that precedes movement - a twisted thought that manipulated its beginning to gain the body of humanity to use as its own.
This illusion will topple only when eternal recurrence becomes common knowledge.
Eternal recurrence is a time capsule, circling endlessly, waiting for us to hitch a ride back to the playground.
"Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:3
