Have you thought about time? Often we go here and there saying we don't have enough time in the day to do this or that. We all have the same amount of time; 24 hours in a day to manage. There will come a day when time as we know it will be no more. Revelation 10:6 and swore by him that live forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that there in are, and the earth, and the things that there in are, and the sea, and the things which are there in, that there should be time no longer. While we do have time to work let us seek the Lord. Hosea 10:12 I am thinking you have probably heard the saying 'Haste makes waste.' When I hurry to do something I often find myself falling further behind, trying frantically to catch up. If I would just be still for a moment I can focus better on what I am doing. Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen; I will be exalted in the Earth. Did you know that having wisdom from God will give you length of days? Proverbs 3:16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor. Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom; and with all they getting get understanding. What is wisdom? There is an earthly kind of wisdom and a heavenly wisdom. The book of James defines wisdom for us in chapter 3.James 3:13-18. Spend a few minutes looking for these verses in your bible. 2nd Corinthians 6:2b Behold now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. So as God has given us the 24 hours in our day, we need to use our day with wisdom. We need to stay awake and alert as to what God might want us to do in each day that we have on Earth. 1st Thessalonians 5:4-6,8. But ye brethren are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all children of the light, and children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
