A Paradox: The only thing that remains the same is change.

The Lord Jesus Christ is consistent in everything He does. He is faithful to keep His promises to us, continually. Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Look at natureand see the fruit of His consistency. Consider the 4 seasons. Consider the maker of the human body. We all have parts of our body that have purpose as to our existence. Look at all the various kinds of animals our Lord has given to us. Some provide a source of something to meet the needs of human kind. Some provide food such as deer for meat and cows for meat, milk and cheese. Some provide comfort and aide, such as the service dogs do. Some animals provide service to us as transportation. Camels, donkeys and horses are some that provide this. We can even train animals to be obedient to us. He gives animals a mind to think with and feelings of love and pain, joy and sorrow. It's all to help man on Earth. Canine dogs rescue people and they are protective type animals. My point in all of this talk about animals and nature is that God is consistent in all His ways. He wants us to reflect this consistency to others. When others see us, hopefully they can see Christ in us. Not I but Christ, Galatians 2:20. Consistency is regular, normal and works by the law of the Spirit. Romans 8:2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. There is an important paradox to see about life. There are 3 different ways to say this. Above I have stated one way. Second, nothing remains the same except change. Third is nothing is consistent but change. To tie that in with the Christian life is to say that we are ever growing, learning and changing. Genesis 8:22. While the Earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
