All the presidential candidates, may they be democrats or republicans, except for a few, are confusing the American people for the benefit of their own political interest and are sending our allies and our enemies a very mixed message.  The fact that everyone is complaining that the war is still not won and that it is not well managed is equal to someone cutting the legs of another person and complaining that he is too short. 
This fact alone shows a lack of maturity from our elected officials.

If we continue this course, we will probably find ourselves in the middle of a war that we did not want, and for which we were neither prepared nor able to prevent it. In my view, our president was elected by the American people for the second term in the middle of the war in Iraq and in Afghanistan and in many other places in the world and at that time the United States Congress had expressed its approval.

Al Qaida and Iran are waiting for the moment that we elect either Hillary Clinton or Barak Obama, as both promised to bring our soldiers home while at the same moment our European allies are strengthening Bush’s hand and promising to send more soldiers to fight the terrorists in Afghanistan.  France, that knows well the Arab world, is reintegrating in Nato and promised to send its soldiers to Afghanistan! That just does not make sense. 

In a difficult time we don’t need a defeatist president. We need a strong man like Ronald Reagan who can show to the world the real wisdom and power of our country.

Iran and the terrorists understand President Reagan’s language. The former Soviet Union and Iran had experienced the language of the Reagan administration.

We as Americans, we often forget who we are and which strength and capacity we have at our disposal. The rhetoric of Obama is well known to many people from the communist and socialist leaders at that time.  There are only empty promises.

Hillary is looking for herself to be again in the White House and Obama did not show any concrete plan or any positive record during the short time he has been in the Senate.
America needs doers and not talkers.

I know from my World War II experience and from other wars that no leader is perfect. Those who are watching without any responsibility can easily criticize the one who is acting and carrying the burden.  I understand that nothing is perfect, but as Americans we should unite in a common cause before it is too late.
