A History Lesson, A Life Lesson

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the AthenianRepublic some 2,000 years earlier:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government."

"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury."

"From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years."

"During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence from:

1. Bondage to spiritual faith
2. Spiritual faith to great courage...
3. Courage to liberty
4. Liberty to abundance
5. Abundance to complacency
6. Complacency to apathy...
7. Apathy to dependence
8. Dependence back into "bondage"

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Gore: 19
Bush: 29

Square miles of land won by:
Gore: 580,000
Bush: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by:

Gore: 127 million
Bush: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: 

Gore: 13.2
Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson, "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

Same unknown author, “If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

Note: I want to add to the last two paragraphs. This is only a very small part of what is happening in America. I know for a fact that illegals are voting, and that it was planned this way, there is much more going on than many Americans realize. Mainstream corporate media is not talking about it right now…only Internet media and some progressive radio talk shows.

Do world events seem like they are spinning out of control? 

Do the explanations you hear from government officials sound like they are meant to mislead? 

Does the corporate news media leave you feeling like you only hear part of the story – maybe even the wrong part? 

Why are groups like the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderbergers – groups whose members are obviously powerful with connections to wealth and political influence – never the subject of the evening news?

Read the book Brotherhood of Darkness, by Dr. Stanley Monteith, and you will start to find out the answers to these questions? After reading this book, you will never look at the world the same way again…

Some of the titles in articles alone, such as, The Master Plan to Rule the World Exposed, will keep most people away from reading anything that sound like a conspiracy theory, because that is how we have been conditioned. But think about all the conspiracy theories throughout your life that are no longer theories, BUT FACT?

There is a secret group of people exposed by investigative reporters three years ago that have been planning everything happening in our world since 1955. They are the leaders of every country in our world, and everything happening to the United States citizens has been part of that plan.

Many others and I also know that it started centuries ago; it has just been revitalized by this new secretive group and at an accelerating pace since 2001.

I know, this sounds like insanity, science fiction, or just another conspiracy theory…unfortunately it is NOT!

We are living it right now! We are at the plan’s conclusion! And yes, if we do not all educate ourselves, RIGHT NOW, we and our children will be the slaves in a dictatorship, RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA!

I know that we can still turn this around; again, history has also shown us this. But again, it is the citizens who must actively participate in this change, which is what the democratic process has always been about in America for over two hundred years...

The apathy came from the citizens not paying attention to what the elected officials were actually doing due to the dumbing down of our children in America and our lack of interest in the political system. We have also been too busy with the constant hate of each other over race, gender, religion, sexual preference, nationality...and just having fun and living the good life, we have been spoiled...

We have been too busy with other things in our lives, too distracted to know what others really have planned for us…the passionately unaware.

We must fight to turn this around, make our representatives and our governments do what we know to be right for us, not them...and not leave it to them to tell us what should be done. In order to do this the children must be educated to all aspects of our history and the voting processes at a very young age.

We must involve everyone in all aspects of our government. I know that millions of American adults also lack in this area. I was educated to all of this, when I was in high school, but my lack of interest made me apathetic to political processes and other things going on in our country and world...until two years ago.

We can no longer rely on our officials and the checks and balances of our representatives that have been elected to lead us to do the right thing; we must do what they have not...

Fifty percent of our high school children are dropping out today, you must ask yourself, why and help to find a solution!

The education of everyone is imperative, no matter how old you are...

Who better to lead our representatives and our country in what we need in our life to survive and prosper than us, the working American citizens that are living it everyday!

As a carpentry instructor, I teach my students that we (the carpenters) are the absolute best people to evaluate the tools we work with. We must tell the manufacturers which tools are the most effective, which need minor improvements, and which should be taken out of production.

Life is no different!
