Sharon told me about a story dealing with travelling and how one person dealt with travelling by plane. It was a different story than the one I heard.

But Sharon...there's more to the story!

This is what *I* heard:

A man and a woman are sitting beside each other in the first class
section of the plane. The woman sneezes, takes a tissue, gently wipes
her nose and then shudders quite violently in her seat.

"Bless you," the man silently responds to the woman, not looking at her
but noticing her movement next to him.

This was the first flight for the man, and his firm was nice enough to
provide him a first-class seat for the two-hour flight. Scared, he
listened attentively to the cabin's steward, explaining the safety
features and what to do with the cushion under his seat in the case of
a water landing. He looks up to see the lighted "EXIT" signage and, as
the man in the beige vest wearing the wings instructed, he looked behind
his seat to find another lighted "EXIT" sign.

The pre-flight briefing over, the man relaxes while the pilot explains
that it is a smooth flight to Chicago and they don't expect any problems.
At first, the voice over the speakers in the plane startled him, but as
he heard the calm voice of the man flying the plane, he exhaled a large
sigh of relief.

He is then asked which newspaper or magazine he wished to read. Almost
in a blurt, he responded, "Idon'tknow...whateveryouhave." The steward,
experienced in dealing with nervous passengers, placed his hand on the
shoulder of the man and said "You look like a Wall Street Journal man to
me" and smiled.

The man weakly returned the smile and accepted the paper from the male
flight attendant. The man is interrupted by the sneeze of his neighbor.

"Bless you!" the man exclaimed as he watched the young lady beside him
shudder, a half smile forms over her face as she squirmed back and forth
in her seat.

The man isn't sure why she is shuddering and goes back to reading. A
few minutes pass. The woman sneezes again. She takes a tissue, gently
wipes her nose and shudders quite violently in her seat.

"Are you alright?" he asked. The woman just nods as she wipes her nose.

"Thank you for asking," she responds through the napkin.

The man goes back to reading, but his concentration on the printed letters
was dim. "Why didn't they send Stanley? Stanley ALWAYS does these trips,
and it never bothers him. He always return in the greatest of moods!"

He tries to read an article on e-business, something he wished his firm
would get into. An old business, they have been producing the same products for more than 100 years. Always the same things, but surprisingly always in demand. "I just wished that we would join the 21st century like everyone else."

The man then turned the pages in the newspaper to read about a closure of a
e-business and again thought to himself, "Maybe not."

The woman once again sneezes, and as she sneezed, she shuddered again in her seat. This time, however, she dropped her napkin on the floor. The man
bends over and removes another tissue from the dispenser the woman brought into the plane.

"Thank you," she responded, blowing her nose. "I'm sorry if I'm bothering
you, but I'm very nervous about flying."

"That's okay, Miss", the man responded, adding, "this is my first time too."

The man is becoming more and more curious about the shuddering. A few
more minutes pass. The woman sneezes yet again. She takes a tissue,
gently wipes her nose and shudders violently again.

"Is she going to have to a seizure?", he asked. "I am really worried about
her...and so good-looking, too."

The man has finally had all he can handle. He turns to the woman and
says, "You know, five times you've sneezed and each time you've taken a
tissue and wiped your nose then shuddered violently! Are you sending me
signals, or are you going crazy?"

The woman's face took on a reddish complexion as she leaned over and
whispered in the man's ear, "I'm sorry if I disturbed you. I have a rare
condition and when I sneeze, I have an orgasm."

The man looked at the woman.

"You're kidding, right?"

The woman silently nodded her head in the negative while half-smiling. "My
doctor says I should do something to take my mind off of flying. Are you going to Chicago?"

"Yes, I have to report to our corporate headquarters there. I work for
McCormick. It probably doesn't mean anything to you, Miss," the man explained, looking at the pretty blue eyes of the woman whom just revealed a close secret to a stranger.

"We've been making spices for the last 100 years. You probably have some of our products in your home. Our biggest product is pepper. That's what I have to go and demonstrate -- one of our strongest and most tasteful yet."

The man paused and immediately apologized, touching the forearm of his next
door flying neighbor. "I'm sorry, Miss. I get excited when I talk about our
products. They all tease me back in Richmond -- they all say that I have
a..." and then he bent over to silently speak "they all say I have a hard-on for
pepper and that I get hard every time I see it!" He giggled and the woman laughed with him.

The man returned the conversation to his travelling mate, folding the
newspaper.

"I've never heard of your condition before. What are you taking for it?"

The woman looks at him. She reaches down beside the box of napkins and
pulls out a small retangular tin and shows it to her new date and travelling
companion.

"Pepper."


That's how I heard it!
