Everywhere I go these days I seem to hit a STOP sign...

Everywhere I go these days I seem to hit a STOP sign telling me to slow down, stop moving altogether, and analyze where I am going in life. But that isn't something I want to do. It's not the direction I want to go.

I want to find a green light, a never-ending green light where there are no bumps in the road, nothing to keep me dormant, nothing to make me STOP.

I don't want to analyze. I just want to live life and not have to worry about hitting a dead end or an unwanted detour. I want a clear road with only good, clear signs urging me on ahead into the future.

But how can I make that happen when a STOP sign is all that I see in front of me? When will the red be replaced by green? When will I finally reach my desired destination.

An interesting question, but one filled with doubt and retreat rather than moving forward. We all face stop signs in our life. I've come across a few myself. Stopped briefly, took a look around and proceeded carefully, knowing that I was making the right choices, much better than those that threw up stop signs. As a result I'm quite happy with my situation and also quite ready to face the final stop sign, my pending death. No one escapes that stop sign.
