A loss of my friend
Up on the Mountain Top
As eloquence to meet, reborn to live another day-
A man stronger than Atlas, he holds the world to hide the evil.
Fearless as Achilles, one weakness, taking one shot to stop him.
Now this man joins the mighty Zeus- he has shown his compassion for humanity.
A single white rose – innocence and purity abundance.
How any entity can strip this great man from us;
To rob the meek of our inheritance, to take him away.
Dawning our crest-fallen tears, scared this rumor to be true .
To better one’s self, either falling or kneeling-
It is the over we share, delivering him to honor him in grace.
A heart not strong enough to bare the pain-
We fall ourselves empty inside, unable to follow this ride.
Our scars deepened by this tragedy, we walk aimlessly amongst the cold night’s breath,
Once the tears dry up, how do we let him know he mattered.
For more than one did he open his heart:
For many he soothed our blacked fear, so we might try if even one more day.
