Local Author Antes Up: Self-publishing Takes Center Stage

Frustrated and enraged by the grueling process of securing an agent and publishing deal, many authors have found the path of self-publishing to be lucrative. However, as Jaynie’s seventeenth birthday approaches she decides to go in search of her mother and finds out that her mother is a faërie queen. Being the queen's daughter, Jaynie realizes this makes her a faërie princess. Suddenly big feet and red hair add a new dimension as her exciting adventure begins.

The book is a YA Urban Fantasy dealing with the effects of childhood separation and the potentially startling effects achieved once reconnection is sought.
