Those sincerely willing to accept the position would have to COMMIT EVERYTHING to the Lord and trust that he will help when times get hard. Psalms 37:5
When things aren’t working out or when things become overwhelming, will you be able to BE STILL in the presence of the Lord and WAIT PATIENTLY for him to step in and act on your behalf? Psalms 37:6
When you fail on the job, will you BELIEVE that he helps the fallen and lifts up those beneath their loads?
What if the dress code required that you be clothed with TENDERHEARTED MERCY, KINDNESS, HUMILITY, GENTLENESS, AND PATIENCE ON A DAILY BASIS? WOULD YOU STILL APPLY? Colossians 3:12
Also included in your uniform would be LOVE. For Love is what will bind the workplace together in PERFECT HARMONY. Would you be willing to seek perfect harmony while working for God? Colossians 3:14
God also wants those who can be able to JOYFUL always, and those who will PRAY CONTINUALLY. Can you give thanks in all circumstances? 1 Thessalonians 5:26 Read on!
What about the Sabbath day? If God chose you to hold this position, would you KEEP THE SABBATH DAY HOLY by NOT pursuing your own interests in that day, but by spending time enjoying the Sabbath by speaking of it with delight as his holy day. Isaiah 59:13
Those chosen for the position would also have to flee from the evil desires of their youth and PURSUE RIGHTEOUSNESS, FAITH, LOVE, PEACE and be able to stand with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Do you have a PURE HEART? If so, you will one day, see God. Matthew 5:8
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified. Romans 10:10.
THE BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR GOD INCLUDES:
« God will be your light and protector and will give you favor and honor. Psalms 84:11
« If Chosen, the Spirit will be God’s guarantee that he will give you everything he promises. Ephesians 1:14
« The God who gives Endurance and Encouragement will give you a Spirit of Unity among yourselves as you follow Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5
« God will fill you with Joy and Peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
« God himself will sanctify you through and through and your whole spirit, soul and body will be kept blameless. For he who calls you is faithful and he will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
« If you will work for Peace in the workplace. You will be called his children. Matthew 5:9
Those were just a few of the requirements to be a Warrior in the Workplace. The checklist below can be used to determine the most qualified for the position.
WILL YOU MEASURE UP?
q Is your Love sincere? Do you hate what is evil and cling to what is good? Romans 12:9
q Are you devoted to others in brotherly (co-worker-ly) love? Do you honor one another above yourself? Romans 12:10
q Do you share with God’s people who are in need? Do you practice hospitality? Romans 12:13
q Do you live in harmony with one another? Are you being too proud to associate with people of low position? Are you being too conceited? Romans 12:16
q Are you being overcome by evil or fleshful living? Can you overcome evil with Good? Romans 12:21
q Above all, can you be trusted? Can God trust you will little things? For his motto is: Whoever can be trusted with very little can be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little is dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, how can he trust you in true riches? And if you haven’t been trustworthy with someone else’s property. How can he give you property of your own?
q Do you have enough Faith? Because without Faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him for this position must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek (serve) him. Hebrews 11:6
q Can you follow his rules? Because if you break the smallest commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be the least in the (workplace) Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be great in the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 5:19
q Are you able to keep away from the sinful acts of nature: such as sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fists of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy, drunkenness, orgies and the like. God warns you. That those who work (live) like this will not inherit (a promotion) the Kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21
If you’ve gotten this far in the process I assume you feel you are fully anointed to do God’s work. If so, call for an interview with God for the Job at 1-800- His-Will if lines are busy call, 1-800- I’ll Work.
As you prepare to take the position remember we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10. So do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. But be faithful even to the point of death and God will give you the crown of life. Revelation 2:10
Don’t be afraid of what will come as a servant of Christ, For God has not given you a spirit of Fear, but of Power, Love and Sound Mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
GOT GEAR?
Once an interview has been set up, these are the things you will need to bring on the interview. Work may start immediately so come prepared.

-- FULL ARMOR OF GOD: THE BELT OF TRUTH BUCKLED AROUND YOUR WAIST; WITH THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS in place, and with your feet fitted with readiness that comes from the GOSPEL OF PEACE. In all of this, take up a SHIELD OF FAITH with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the HELMET OF SALVATION and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT which is the WORD OF GOD. Most of all bring a prayer and PRAY IN THE SPIRIT on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Ephesians 6:13-17
After a few days of work be prepared to notice a change; for if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; Old things are passed away; and all things will become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
