Who am I? Where do I fit? When did it start mattering? I have to look this way, I have to dress this way. When did it start mattering? I have to belong to this group? I have to accept these values. When did it start mattering?
I just want to know who made all the rules? Who decides if you're a nerd, an outcast, an unacceptable member of society?
Some days I get up wondering who I'll have to please to get what I want out of life. Who will I have to agree with? Who will I have to charm today? Am I wasting my time?
What do I stand to gain by giving up all of me. Who I've become. Must I fit? Must I walk their walk? Talk their talk?
When I journey through life I don't want it to matter, but why does it?
