With much Love...MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Our God is…The King of Kings!

He owns all things, beginning with us and

including the houses, the land, the animals…

great and small...all the finances, even every

piece of precious jewels, they are…His! Yes…all of it!

To ‘Him’ Belong…the entire earth’s wealth, barring none!

So it was, when due to our sins, that after 400 years of not hearing the cries of those that were praying and lamenting for the Promised Deliverer, Our Eternal God...Who Is Love... did pity and responded to the oppressed, hopeless and dying condition of His people.

In their hearts it was anticipated that at Massiah's arrival, surely their oppressors would be dead, their yearned for splendent possessions met, with all their other problems being solved, indeed. Most believed in God as the Proprietor and Creator of the earth and every dot and tittle in it. Thus, for them to dream that one morning they could awaken to find that overnight their fortunes had changed…was, indeed feasable.

Afterall, they knew God was not limited and since He had done it before (literally raining manna down in a desert...and then there was Jericho) it was not foolishness to think that He could instantly take them from beggers to chiefs, with everything ‘free’ for the taking!

There dreams were plausible, for they never forgot Who He Was! He Was GOD and there was ‘Nothing’ that He couldn’t do!!! Within His Hands, All The Power in Heaven and Earth reigned! There was the proof of so many miracles etched within; Creation itself, the Red Sea, The Hebrew boys in a Furnace, Daniel in a Den of Lions, then, of course, Joshua and the Sun that stood still, yes...so many miracles!

Without question, God could have done it that way…if…He wanted to. And…if…that would have eradicated all problems, He would have.

With a mere 'thought', or 'snap’ of His Fingers He could have flourished all with the lux tangible things that they desired. Yet… He ‘chose’ not to save us that way. Why?

I venture to suggest… it was because He considered; a 'Permanent' Fix of needs, over a 'Temporary' Satisfying of  wants.

Albeit, He elected to come…not as a King, or some Grand, Glory-Seeking, Conquering Hero on horseback with an enumerable, relentless victorious army...though, such was available at His command. But, no… He was not clad in Royal Apparel and ‘obviously’ was not shining with clout, strength and opulence.

But He arrived in the poorest of states…lowlier than the lowest. Indeed, in the form of a vulnerable, defenseless infant, with no place to lay his head.

And on a cold winter’s night, in a pungent stable, amid animals and swaddled in rags, there in a borrowed manger… lay our Redeemer,  Messiah/Jesus/Emmanuel.

He...Who Ever Was, came…to give us what we needed most… Himself!

Merry Christmas!

Matt 1:18-25, Is 7:14

Amen! There is only ONE NAME by which we are saved: Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamasheah, Jesus the Messiah! Amen!

Merry Christmas Joyce, you bring up the BEST THINGS our SAVIOR has to offer. He offers us HOPE in the midst of darkness and despair. We don't need to think that He is merely another rich King sitting on a throne. Why? Because He was born in an impoverished stable. Our Savior knows what it's like to be without. He has been there and done that! So we can really see the MIRACLE from the little baby in the manger because He knew what poverty was like but still, He overcame it and He did so very well! What are the chances of this occurring? A little baby in a stable becomes the most recognized person in the past and present world! It is truly a marvel to wonder how could this little child bring about so much JOY to the world? All I can say to all that wonder is, "Jesus LOVES you" and "He is waiting for YOUR LOVE in return." That's a LOVE that will bring about "Eternal Happiness" so who would say "no" to a gift that will last forever? If we come to Jesus like a little child and accept the wonder that He can even exist in such a dark and dreary world we will get over ourselves and get on with a life full of possibilities that are limitless beyond our imagination. Merry Christmas! Amen!
