In 2015 Air transport operations resulted in a global fatal accident rate of just one in 5 million flights, the lowest figure on record. So people will tell you you shouldn’t be afraid to fly… but you still are even though you know its safer than driving. Why the fear?
I help folks go beyond most Fear of Flying workshops that just deal with your conscious mind and give techniques to overcome the fear and panic. Panic attacks are real so don't let anyone tell you they are psychomatic! I work with people to discover the cause which could be a subconscious trigger from your past, a food that sets you off, electromagnetic fields that disrupt your brain chemicals, menopause and of course the realization that once in the airplane you lose total control over your life!
I have experienced panic attacks first hand. As a pilot I have even experienced them in the cockpit and as a passenger, once the airplane stopped panic set in before they opened the cabin door, and it was all I could do to keep from climbing over the seats to get to the exit. I used to wake up at night feeling so claustrophobic I would have my heart racing, couldn't breathe and wanted to run out of the house even in the winter. So I know what you are going through. I solved my panic attacks and now help folks solve theirs.
