~for those who are hurting and for those who cared.
A very moving article
have stayed on with me
for quite some time now.
For me, the author's pain was very real.
I cried for the hurting
betrayed little one
who wanted nothing else in this world
except to be loved.
I wanted to console but
I am at a loss for words .
What could I possibly say
that would make sense ... ???
I truly agree
that it is only
in releasing the object of one's hatred
from the focus of bitterness and revenge
that one would truly find peace.
Yet I find it inappropriate
to expound on healing
and forgiveness
when the hurting one
still needed to grieve .
I feel the anguish ,
I feel the intense pain.
I too, would want to retaliate
If I were the one subjected
to all those horrendous abuses.
If I were the one still hurting within
I would want those who really cared to
respect my need
to find myself
at my own pace.
If I were the one still hurting
I would welcome those close to me
to cry with me
grieve with me
and be with me
...in silence.
If I were the one still hurting
I would request those who cared to
Please ...
Listen to me
Understand my agony.
If you must contradict me
Please ...
do so gently.
Should I refuse to listen
Please ...
do not force the issue.
Just
be there for me
And Love Me.
If I sensed that you really cared
You just might make a difference
to my numb, numb heart.
Like the steady droplets of water
on the hard , hard rock
the steady flow of your sincere concern
just might make me see
the goodness in people once again.
THEN
I just might begin
to contemplate
the possibility
of your God
Whom you say is love
Because I felt loved by you
despite of myself.
THEN
I just might begin
to be curious
of your God whom you say
speaks of forgiveness.
THEN
I just might attempt
to ask
of your God
WHY
all these happened.
THEN
Maybe I would
start to listen.
BUT For now
Just accept me
Love me where I am.
Thru your kindness
Let me feel
Your God.
Because right now
only my pain is real
you won't reach me
thru your rationalizing .
It is alright if you do not have the words
your presence is enough.
Is that how your God is?
Silent yet present?
Unseen yet always there?

Much truth and feelings in your work...loved it Nellie!

I met Jerome on a busy city street in Baltimore, Maryland, when he was forty-five years old. On that particular day, I was out and about, enjoying a much-needed day off from work.
I wanted to purchase a sukiyaki sub. I parked my car in an area of
Eight e-books regarding Pathological Narcissism, relationships with abusive
narcissists and psychopaths, and the Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).
