IF YOU DON'T ANOTHER MAN MIGHT
Often in response to my poetry or short stories women comment as to how much they wish to have such a considerate man in their life.
I am not young man anymore and made many mistakes before finally applying my heart and mind to understand what it is that makes a woman happy and opens her heart to a man. I believe that this is the biggest mistake most men make, not seeking to understand a woman's thoughts and needs. Expecting her to respect ours, but not respecting hers.
I think most women long to have romance in their lives, God made them that way and instilled in their very souls the desire for tender romance and torrid passion. The things that kill romance, or light their passion are usually simple things and it is their right to expect the man that shares their life and their bed to know how to make them feel loved and desired.
Here are a few of the things I have learned through trial and error and through actually academically studying the psyche of women. I have also asked questions of those women close to me, I have above all LISTENED to their answers and tried to apply them to my life and attitudes. Men, we must face it, much of our happiness in life depends on how well our relationships with women start and remain.
She wants your respect. Treat her like you would want to be treated. Never do anything to make her think you see her as inferior to you. Elevate her as the queen of your heart and home. Don't be rude or disrespectful in words or actions.
She wants your attention, sometimes undivided attention. When she tries to talk to you LISTEN. Let her know her thoughts and opinions and problems are important to you.
She wants your admiration. Compliment her at every opportunity. Never compare her to another woman unfavorably. Let her know in your words and touch that she is beautiful and desirable.
She wants your touch. Learn what brings her pleasure and how to give it to her. Kiss her long and soulfully. Make love to her any way she desires, learn how to discern her many moods.
She wants you to make her feel special. Give her gifts and time. Learn how to make her smile and laugh.
When I was a much younger man there was no one to tell me these things and so I had to learn for myself. Loving a woman sometimes does not really come naturally for a man. We are often selfish by nature and concerned with our own needs. Be unshelfish toward your lady and she will unfold to you like a beautiful, fragrant flower. You will find yourself looking for more and better ways to please her as you reap the benefits of her love and passion.
If you don't, another other man might.
