As I look back on my three-score and ten years of existence I have to wonder how did which bathroom a person uses get to be a political issue. Most homes in this great country have at least one bathroom which is not even marked with any kind of logo. You got to go you go. So one day I'm watching the local news and they have some spokesperson on from a local high school talking about some government directive regarding which bathroom certain students can or can't use. Further more some students will have to disclose which gender is on their birth certificate. I can only conclude that while I wasn't looking a race of aliens invaded and decided that the best way to take over our country is to cause mass gender confusion. They must have concluded that a generation of citizens that are not sure which gender they are would be easy pickings.

How about a simple test - pull down your pants and take a look. It is just that simple. In an environment such as a school where you have to use the facilities and shower etc... the equipment you have will tell you which one to use. Of course I must conclude from the notoriety of the subject that there are enough confused people so as to cause a government directive. So either by number or political perfidy this somehow has become an issue.  Now I can hear all the special interest people screaming about those poor individuals who have a gender identity crisis. To which I would say do the best you can and get on with your life. Do not let this situation define who you are inside. This nature that we want to find so benevolent is not at all interested. People are born with all kind of thing wrong with them. Things that cannot be prevented - only lived with. If you are a girl that thinks you should be a boy or a boy that wants to be a girl there are a lot of choices that you can make and some will have to wait until you are older and more in control. If you were born a type I diabetic you have choices too - but you still have to live with it. Life is precious but if someone told these people it would be easy they did them a disservice. But now we have come to a point where some feel  the government must step in to protect every special interest group from this large amorphous majority. But I would say drop your drawers, take a good look, and march proudly into the bathroom designated for your particular gender. Unless of course you are at home where chances are the bathroom is not marked with any logo. And if perchance you find yourself in one of these public facilities that is marked, and there you encounter someone who you feel has infringed on the space or violated the logo, take a deep breath and move on. They may have more problems than you want to deal with - or they may be a government agent!
