Free Promo for The Flowers of Reminiscence results. 9/11/2012 7:12:13 PM
I offered The Flowers of Reminiscence for 48 hours only on Kindle as a free promo. The free promo offered for The Flowers of Reminiscence resulted in more than 2000 people downloading it to their Kindles. This was over a 48 hour period, from midnight Friday, through Saturday until midnight. I am not a fan of these types of promotions, but in the long run, it will fulfill its purpose. The give away is done for now, and now I am watching to see how effective it will be for Kindle borrowing whereas a fund is shared among authors when the books are borrowed by Amazon Prime Customers.
It would be a better idea for Amazon to offer showcasing novels in my opinion when an author achieves a certain amount of customers who take their books for free. That would make it much more fair in my opinion.
