I am finally there. I would not be here today if it wasn't for my Mother's Strength, my Daughter as my Inspiration and my disabled Brother showing me an easier way.
Hi.
My name is Jade Stone. I am a new Canadian Author.
I am 37 years old and a single disabled Mother to a fantastic teenage daughter. It was my daughter who got me into writing. I was in a very bad car accident back in June of 1995, which has left me with brain damage on my right side (Frontinil Lobe) and this affects my memory in the worst way as well as cause extreme migranes. This also affects the left side of my body. It works only when it wants to (ha ha ha).
I wrote a Children's Book called "Whispering Willow Woods" which will be released on May 28, 2005. It is a mystical, magical, wonderful adventure for Children of all ages. I have also gathered poems over the years and have placed them in book form and it is sitting at my Publisher's. When I first started looking for a Publisher I didn't think it was going to be so difficult, but lady luck was with me as I finally did. PublishAmerica took a chance on an unknown writer and here I am.
I am currently working on a new project. I have decided to write a Horror Novel. It is called "GARGOYLE" and I am hoping to be finished soon. I enjoy writing. Thank God for computers. (I really don't like writer's cramp). I have found many new friends on AuthorsDen and many amazing Author's/Writer's.
