A quick note about my self-published books on Amazon.com Like a lot of self published authors these days, I have my books on Amazon.com and I have an Amazon author's page.
The only problem with this page is my books there are all incorrect; my page lists non-Silurian books that are no longer available ("In Blood Covenant", "Son of the Sun" and "Rome's Perfect Boy"). These Amazon listed books are not for sale, as my contracts with my old publisher have expired and the books taken down from their website.
I've told Amazon about this, but they refuse to take down these out of date, out of contract books from their site, telling me that they want to provide the best experience for their buyers.
So Amazon is offering the BEST buying experience by offering purchasers books that they can't have, (as these books are out of contract and are no longer being printed as print on demand books).
I have written to Amazon again and again, and again and again, they have refused to remove the out-of-print books on my author's page, while at the same time, offering for sale out-of-date copies of The Silurian, Book One, The Fox and The Bear, when I have a brand new copy from Createspace.
All I'm saying now is that if anyone here, there or anywhere would like to buy my Silurian books as paperbacks, they are best directed to Lulu.com and NOT Amazon. Lulu.com have all the latest editions, correctly listed, with the correct and current cover art and ISBNs. Amazon claim to sell my books that are no longer in print. Wonderful. Good work Amazon.com.
