Matter cannot be created and neither can it be destroyed
You cast a shadow, briefly
and Time is an infinite River
in which you swirl, briefly
and briefly, you come, rise, then sucked down
not destroyed, but absorbed into the River.
Your consciousness is the thing that is alone
Your absorption, never.
All Suns are in the River;
and you should try to understand your permanence,
within the River.
And your permanence is clouded by the shadow of your brief visit.
You must allow for the exception, as well as the Rule.
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
