Inspiration and Motivation Mentorship program to get teens writing with professional input I always introduce something new to the Muse. This time it's a project deear to my heart.
In the past, I had to refuse teens when they applied for membership on the Muse because many contained critique groups unsuitable for teens
viewing. It may have been the content or words within a story I felt teens should not be privy to.
After much deliberation, I've opened up a new section to the Muse- the Junior Muse Conference Yahoo board where teens from ages 13 to 17 can apply for membership and from there I will team them up in private groups as I've done on the Muse to form small critique groups. The Yahoo board will be there for the teens to be mentored and helped with any writing question they may have.
