What Day Is It?" A Family's Journey Through Traumatic Brain Injury 1/14/2009 12:08:41 PM
A story about coming back to life from a coma. I would like, whomever reads "What Day Is It?" to feel inspired and ready to take on their challenges presented with a new appreciation for life. I wrote "What Day Is It?" with the soldiers coming back from Iraq in mind. I can envision how difficult it is to transition back into society after experiencing battle or military duties. It is hard to imagine, how to come back into society with the difficulties of having any degree of a brain injury. I wish the best of recovery, for anyone who has experienced the confusion, delusion, or illusion, that surviving a brain injury presents to you and your loved ones.
