Snowy Weekend

Buried in snow, I finally get a quiet weekend. So what should I do?
All through 2025, I wished for some time to slow down, to catch up with reading magazines and emails, finish books that were half read, sewing buttons on favorite clothes, cleaning out draws and tossing all the papers that used to be so important. Well, in 2026, I got my snowy weekend.
And yes, I did get caught up. Now with one more day of icy sidewalks, snowy streets, closed businesses and a car buried in snow, I'm going crazy.
Hey, maybe I'll find some time to start writing another novel. Or maybe a book of short stories would be better. I've already got them written. Then there's the book of poetry? We'll see! 2026 has just begun.
