I wrote a short story titled Friday Night Knife & Gun Club in 2013, shortly after the Sandy Hook shooting. The story was written all in one sitting, as a fictional memoir -- a dysfunctional, dystopian, satirical memoir of a single shift as a nurse in a busy Denver hospital. Although fictional, the story is becoming all too real.
Friday Night Knife & Gun Club is now in production with Audible.com and will be available as an audiobook download in early December. Listen and weep.
The audiobook is narrated by Annika Connor, who is also providing original cover art -- different from the artwork of Albert Roberts, who designed the cover of the e-book edition. Both artists are incredibly talented and I'm honored to have them contribute.
I have complementary review copies and codes available for interested readers.
Thank you.
