I am asking for help from a competent, honest and real person who is not just out to take another 50 bucks from me.
I've spent almost 500 dollars so far trying to publish my "exceptional book" of poems and all I get is another $50.00 charge and an empty promise. I've sold to date, 0 books. Hi, My name is David W. Smith-

I have recently "Published" my poetry book on lulu.com
so far I've spent over $500.00 trying to get my book into the right hands of the right person, very frustrating to say the least.
I was hoping that "on the merits of my book alone" I could find someone to partner with me in a full throttle attempt at publishing my book. I don't have any more money, only the merit of a damn good book which I'm sure will make a killing if I can just get it in the market place. or the right hands.
I just don't know how to go about doing that without greasing every ones hands with money that I don't have.
Can I get any suggestions, or should I just throw my work in the trash, and forget this whole goofy idea, before I waste another $500.00 or $1000.00 on more empty promises.
