A short post about being raised by a brilliant musical mother. Hi there! I know we missed another entire week. I can guarantee you that we have no appointments, tests or other nasty distractions to make me miss posting days...I hope. Well, today I am going back in time to memories of my childhood. This particular piece of music by Chopin was one I learned by ear from listening to my mother play it. I actually learned several pieces this way as not only did she play them herself, she also taught them to her students. I was just lucky enough to hear the notes and learn. I think I was around 10 or younger when I learned this. I didn't let anyone else know for a while because I didn't want to be "shown off", which happened anyway. All par for the course, I guess.
