Finally made it through the battle scene--38 pages of soul-chilling, heart-palpitating suspense. Can you believe I actually cried at some points in the writing? Honestly, I'm scaring myself.
Waymaker is the name of the book I'm writing by the way. It will hit stores later this year. Buy it. Make my tears count for something.
OK, where did that commercial come from?
Anywho, where I cried (is it more manly to say "wept"?) was the part where the main character finally found his resolve, and the courage to let go of his fear. His victory only lasted for a few minutes, but it was quite a step for him all the same. He's a bit intractable, this guy. But I think he's finally getting it.
Another day of writing tomorrow. Who knows what awaits past yonder gate? Stay tuned...and that means all 15 of you.
