As I watch the events unfolding in Sri Lanka, sad as they might be, I can't help but wonder. If Americans cared as much about the homeless, devistated people of our own country what a difference could be made. If people really cared enough to do something about the millions of babies murdered before they had a chance to live at the hands of people who claim to save lives. If they cared to speak up about the millions of women and children who are battered and abused at the hands of the ones who are supposed to care and provide for the families.
I think we need to help the people devistated by this natural disaster. We also need to take an active interest in the distruction happening right at our own front door too.
