She had major surgery
A knee Replacement
I am her closes buddy
her live-in 24 hour “male” nurse
Her Nightingale
We chose that
As to recovery at a nursing home.
Without her here
My loneliness would have been
Beyond repair
Plus I am a netter nurse
I do all
Cook, (Top Chef), house keeping
And yes
“Sponge bathe”
They love that
Unable to sleep in the same bed
But I am near
There is a sizeable chase in our room.
There I am
Room service 24/7.
I must admit
I miss you guys a great deal
Yes in between naps
I get a few lines on paper
A few verses
Sail through my head
But jut can’t get myself
Into the drug addictive computer
Shhhhhhhhh!!
I am doing this on the sneak
Love & miss you all
