Real Time 10/40 Window Mission 10/11/2012 4:41:14 PM
Second bush country mission conversation. 7:00PM EST October 11, 2012 - Missionary Ralph Knight called from the bush country of Welle; a small town that is a good distance from the city of Monrovia. He tells me that the town is so small it is not seen on the Liberian map. He and Pastor Oliver are doing very well other than Ralph losing his voice from sharing Christ so much. To God be all the glory. Thank the Lord it is not a cold. Will have to load him up with throat lozengers for his next trip overseas.
Pastor Oliver and Ralph are ministering in different communities throughout Liberia. Ralph said that they have been going in two different directions holding meetings and praying for needs so as to make the most of their time there.
It is wonderful to hear that over thirty five pastors from different denominations are working together with their congregations as blessed conferences and meetings are being held in various areas. God is good! As a practice Ralph prays over people for healing and that the Lord will meet each need everywhere he goes. So only the good Lord knows the extent of the fruit of His faith and labor since it is all through Christ's ability and grace. He receives praise reports of the Lord's miracles from time to time. Tomorrow he plans to visit an area hospital.
Brother Ralph is always very much in his element there. He makes me think of David Livingston whose heart was in Africa. However the truth is that Ralph's heart beats for every person in every nation of the world that they come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Ralph could get lost in the jungle there and find someone to share the truth of salvation with. People that know him understand well what I am talking about. God is great. I tried to get names of towns and other details from him during our conversation but his focus is not on earthly things. I am not saying this in a religious way. He simply moves in the heavenly dimension when on a mission. Pastor Oliver is taking photos and keeping a journal so when they return I will be able to provide a detailed report. For the time being this is basically the mission journey in real time.
