A bit of insight? Ok, so it seems as though we’re supposed to use this “Blog-thing” as a place to rattle and ramble – (about everything and nothing?) Oh boy… you’re in for it now, because I’m more than capable of doing just that!
I suppose the rest will all spill, in due time, but in the meanwhile, here’s a teensy, tiny bit of insight into my physical world…
After having put my education on the back burner for far too many years, I finally returned to school. I graduated, with Honors, in June. Did you just see that proud peacock strut across your screen? (Smiling, smiling she types…) It’s now that I’m undertaking the frustrating task of obtaining employment. Yuck. Today’s market is not very friendly. I’m so sick of writing cover letters and tweaking my resume that I could just spit. It’s not my theory that this is how my writing talent – or lack thereof – was meant to be used. Between the resumes and cover letters I’ve sent out and my (anal) rewriting, I’ve wasted so much of this stupid, watermark paper I’ve gotten for the purpose, I should own stock in the company. Hey! In today’s market, I could probably get a good price on some stock, whattda ya think?
