Let The Youth Lead The Way 6/11/2020 6:42:56 AM
How America's youth are addressing social injustices. As a baby boomer, it is so heartening and uplifting to see youth voicing their concerns about gross injustices to “black lives in America” after the televised death of George Floyd by Minneapolis policemen.
This death has traversed the globe with the supporting of black, white, brown and indigenous people in the United States of America.
As I thought about it more, there were many changes after the shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida; Greta Thunberg, climate change activist; Malala Yousafzai, female education; Kennedy Mitchum, vocabulary justice, and many more wonderful youth who have educated, took action and inspired all of us daily.
They've also motivated so many people around the World through social media to ensure the truth reaches everyone about injustices. For that I say “thank you;” and endorse – “let the youth lead the way” to a more just and inclusive World.
