HAS GOD EVER LIED TO YOU? 8/4/2014 2:02:15 PM
If there has been anything that is constant, in my life, it's that God has never, lied to me. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened," Matthew 7:7-8, NKJV. James 4:2c states, "Yet you do not have because you do not ask." For the most part of my life, I have received what I have asked of my heavenly Father. There must not have been too, many times when I've asked something, of Him, which I did not need, or anything that would have been detrimental to me, instead of helpful. Although the Lord has instructed me to wait, on occasion. He sometimes says "wait" or "no" to our prayers/petitions. One of the slogans we believers have is, "He may not come when you want Him, but He's always right on time." God blesses us in His own, time. He is notorious, for doing things at the time He, feels is right. "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and time to refrain from embracing; a time to gain, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace," Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, NKJV.
God blesses us in His own perfect, time and we must be patient and wait, on Him. We, as human beings hardly ever, do things at the right time.
God has never, lied to me and I know, that He has never lied to you either, though you may believe that He has. "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life," John 14:6a, NKJV. So you see, God is the truth, truth and nothing but, the truth.
God has never lied to me. Has he ever lied to you? Come on, you know the answer is "no".
