Thank You! everyone for your comments regarding my...Ahem! experimental video's it's seems I've stumbled across something that is proving rather popular. I have always felt that poetry should be seen to be read by the poet...So I will be making more video readings trying out various aspects of presenting my work in the near future. Hopefully with some professional equipment, well better than a cheap and nasty webcam anyway. The good thing about this is, it's made me more creative in respect of what I want to do with my work...now I've got the basics of editing and stuff firmly implanted in my grey matter.I have some ambitious projects to undertake, it wont all be poetry. Inspired by Antia's (Apax) suggestion to see beyond the realms of my bedroom LOL...Here's what you can look forward too.
*A journal (short introductions) to some of the sights and sounds of Doncaster (includes lots of castles and stuff...and some rather pleasing countryside).
* A pictorial presentation of 'Walking with Ghosts' parts 1 & 2 and hopefully 3 (yes, it has been written but has developed so...for now, it's still on the back burner) with footage of the actual battlefield. (Towton)
* A potted historical presentation of the 'Wars of the Roses' and the background to the aforementioned battle... again lot's of castles and cool stuff.
* and of course my poetry presented in as many differing ways as possible, and not with 'yours truly' on screen all the time...you can only take so much lol.
