Here's some little tidbits about Blue. I have a really good job.
I work for a major energy corporation. The biggest on our planet, actually.
I am in Information Technology, and am assigned to a major capital project ($$$$$$). The over all project is a BILLION dollar project. My focus is on a gas plant in Angola that was built 45 years ago. I am on an engineering team dedicated to rebuilding this gas plant. We hope to have our work done on this project by 2008.
Then- I will be assigned to a new exciting project.
I am an IT administrator, and a database administrator. Therefore my recommendations and solutions are respected (otherwise they would have chosen someone else for such a major important project). This week- I decided that we needed a satellite.
By next Thursday- we shall HAVE it.
I attended a corporate wide IT meeting today, and it was decided that the procedures that I have implemented throughout my project are superior. So, today, it was decided that my procedures will be implemented throughout ALL of the projects within our business unit. I am the KING. (I don't want to be queen)
So- that's Blue's day job.
Other than that- I am the guru of many young adults, a webmaster, an author, and an artist. Occasionally I wrestle livestock, and I frequently ride horses.
I put up with bullshit until it becomes ridiculous. And I absolutely LOVE people. And my dog, Vladimir.
