Confusion? A release... 8/29/2004 2:15:02 PM
Well, what to say...I am a bundle of emotions, totally confused and unable to form a line of poetry that would be worthy of the mixed feelings I am feeling inside. It seems that there are always obstacles and road blocks in life...too many for some of us...those of us who continue and struggle on sometimes think of those who have given up as 'bums' or 'crazies'. If the truth be told and we admitted it to ourselves, it would be much easier to just give up!!! Although I doubt I could ever live on the streets or panhandle, I understand where these individuals are coming from...and as for suicide, it does seem to be an easy way out, but then we must deal with the karma that invokes and besides, it isn't our place to take a life--any life, even our own! Ever...
So that is where creativity comes in...we can access those parts of ourselves that would not be allowed to be expressed through our creativity...it keeps a lot of us on this side of insanity! Although I must say that I wonder sometimes if I am, or have ever, slipped to the other side, however temporarily! LOL
Feeling better already...just needed to get some of this out and not 'feeling' a poem arising...
