a surprise on a meltingsnow day! 2/3/2004 3:57:30 PM
just what happened with my clases today. today trudging through the snow i wasn't sure what was going to wait on me at the school. first class went very well and they got the poetic devices we were learning as a class together and they liked writing eintous. the second class wrote better poems about the principles of Nguzo Saba, the 7 principles of African Americans. So i was delightfully surprised by the power of the words that my students exposed today.
In my first class 3 students wrote anti-war eintous.
The 2nd class had various eintous.
