News from my son Joseph. Joe is still in Okinawa. He still misses his teamates who shipped out to Iraq. The plan for him personally, as far as he knows, is that he will go to Korea in the next month. And then, when the full division moves, to Iraq in Jan/Feb.
He called today. One of the friends who left for Iraq left behind a bass guitar in his care. Two requirements. Play it: and "Have it there when I come back."
JOe knows regular guitar but not bass. Asked for a bass tuner. I know what's going out in the care package tomorrow. Along with the Raven's blanket I came by a couple of weeks ago.
