It's sleeting on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, so I am here in Turf valley with my computer and my thoughts. The news is full od war and conflict. It makes one wonder where we are headed. Can we find diplomatic solutions in the middle East before that part of the world blows up? Who will attack the US first - China or Osama? Radical Islamics or Christians for that matter, who advocate and use vioence for political ends are no more than neighborhood hoodlums in my mind and they will go as far as society lets them. But just like any immature bully, they will back down when sufficiently confronted with a united front. The Iraqui government cannot play favorites. All must have a hand in governance and all must obey the laws of the land, period. No exceptions. Til that is accepted, our hands are tied in Iraq.
