As we prepare to usher in the new year, I would like to share a poem that a very good friend shared with me over 30 years ago.
Life's Road
We learn many lessons as each day goes by--
There are songs to sing and a few tears to cry.
There are blessings to count, happy memories, too
And sometimes disappointment in things that we do.
There are cups that run over and years that are lean
With bright days and dark days and long nights between.
But one choice we can make as we carry life's load--
If we look toward the sun
How it brightens the road!
