How I run 8 marathons on 8 continents- Update 2- The Night Before 10/4/2008 4:21:49 AM

It's 9:45PM and cooler---85 degrees. A bit nervously preparing to run my first race---a half-marathon, 13.1 miles in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Got my race number: 526, that's good, doesn't make me a premier runner, but I just want to surprise myself tomorrow. The course: 2 loops of 6.2 miles on city streets surrounding a horse race track with a 9 hole golf course in the middle of the track and grandstand. The run starts at 7am, my first in a while, at sea level compared to living and working at 5100 feet above sea level in Afghanistan. Stay tuned!
