PIGGYs (Poets ink for the Global Good, You Knighted) Join in an effort to aid some of the poorest children of the world. To all those who'd like to help world hunger, and don't know how, I've some great news for you!
Some of the best writers in this den have teamed up to write a book, from which ALL of the proceeds will go directly to the Haitian orphanage, Foyer de Sion, to buy food and supplies.
The book is entitled The Gravy Queen, (a tribute to my constant source of inspiration--my mother) It contains writings from Leo Durrant, Cryssa C., William Cryer, and myself. We are excited about the quality of writing in this book. Who knew so many voices could make such beautiful music together? There is harmony throughout. We welcome all to come join our effort in helping some of the hardest hit in the food-shortage crisis.
We estimate the cost of the book will be around $12.00 per copy, and we will keep you posted as to when it will be available for purchase. So instead of buying that coffee, slip the money into an envelope instead. Just a few cups can help an awful lot!
