“We Cannot Allow This Administration to Go Any Deeper Into This Journey of Trashing Our Nation”
'Traitor,' 'Coward,' 'Communist!' Choose the name, “I've been called these names in the last few weeks," states Representative Barbara Lee, Democrat from California. "Some of it has been very harsh, very harsh." Along with the name-calling came threats on her life. She moves around Washington these days shadowed by a plainclothes police officer who have been assigned to serve as 'round-the-clock' bodyguard.
What did Lee do to earn such threats? On September 14, 2001 she voted against the House bill that granted President Bush broad authority to use force to counter the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. She was the sole member of Congress to do so, to stand up to Goliath our current administration.
"I am convinced," she said on the House floor, "that military action will not prevent further acts of international terrorism against the United States."
She was the first and only person to stand up and support us (the citizens), even though we did not know it at the time. No other representative did. She was the only representative in Congress that did not sign the Patriot Act.
And who was there to stand behind her...what citizen/patriot was there to say “thank you for putting your life in harms way for us...”?

Now steps in Congressman Dennis Kucinich in 2007, currently a Presidential Candidate:
This is not an endorsement for Congressman Dennis Kucinich but; Congressman Kucinich demonstrated that he is willing to fight for the citizens of America when it comes to standing up to Bush and Cheney.
This is what I wrote Congressmen Kucinich:
As a citizen and patriot of the United States I want to extend my deepest respect and gratitude to Congressman Kucinich for taking a real stand for what is right and for putting moral courage over politics.
The leadership that we currently have in place today is what my 28 Great Grandfather Robert Morris warned against when he and the other men (our forefathers) signed our United States Constitution. Bush and Cheney are a disgrace to all that is American. They have betrayed our troops, our people, and our country. They should be held accountable and Congressman Kucinich and Congresswoman Lee should forever hold their heads up high for their efforts. You both stood up for the citizen’s rights, the American people, when other leaders of Congress lacked the courage to do so out of FEAR.
I never thought I would see the day when a member of Congress would read articles of impeachment against any person in our current administration. It actually inspired me to fight even harder for America and the people that have no clue...
Thank you Congressman Kucinich and Congresswoman Lee and all of the cosponsors of bill H.R. 333 for being just one of the first to stand strong for US (the citizens) and America and giving us hope again for the future.
“Actions speak louder than words” this has always been my motto, and I have only reacted to actions, never words, you have led by example -- the best way to lead. The patriots of America will always remember you for your courage and patriotism, as did Congresswoman Barbara Lee being the very first to stand up for us the citizens. I hope all the representatives that have already been elected to represent us (the citizens) fall in line and follow your leadership example. I and many Americans are now watching...
PS: I do know that the mess we are in is partially our fault (US citizens) for not watching our representatives and/or caring....

It makes me wonder, “What took you so long people (our elected representatives)? This has been going on for seven years. Were you waiting for US the citizens?” Well, now you have our attention...
And what is with our Democratic candidate Barack Obama?
Senator Obama was asked about impeachment in June 2007 by an Associated Press reporter.
Quote: "I think I will reserve impeachment for grave, grave breeches, and intentional breeches of the president's authority," he said.
"I believe if we began impeachment proceedings now we will be engulfed in more of the politics that has made Washington dysfunction," he added. "We would once again, rather than attending to the people's business, be engaged in a tit-for-tat, back-and-forth, nonstop circus."
Obama, son of a Kenyan father and American mother, spoke at a weekly constituent breakfast he sponsors with the other Illinois' senator, Dick Durbin.
This was back in June 2007 right after Congressman Kucinich announce impeachment intentions in April 2007.
I wonder what Obama would say now...in January 2008? I for one am giving him the benefit of a doubt that what he is doing will be the right moral thing to do...we shall see.
Okay, let’s first review what I have found out in just the past two years under the Bush Administrations seven years of catastrophic damage they have done to America and they are very arrogant about it:

• They lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, to the American people and the world so that they could invade Iraq and kill thousands of innocent people. [WASHINGTON — June 22, 2006. The United States has found 500 chemical weapons in Iraq since 2003, and more weapons of mass destruction are likely to be uncovered, two Republican lawmakers said Wednesday.]
• They use FEAR mongering to scare the American people into supporting illegal wars.
• They have altered highly classified intelligence reports from the CIA to justify their false claims
• They condone the use of torture in secret prisons around the world...one in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba...
• They released identities of undercover CIA operatives.
• They are responsible for close to 3,000 American citizen deaths with their false flag blueprint for the World Trade Center to get the approval of Americans for their wars.
• They are responsible for the deaths of 3,860 US troops because of their lies. http://icasualties.org/oif/
• They are responsible for the countless and needless deaths of innocent Iraqi people.
• They continue to lie about the current situation in Iraq and Iran...

• They have placed the financial burden of the war on future generations, middle and lower class citizens, while giving more tax cuts to their rich elitist friends around the world. All the while the citizens of America are hungry, sick, and dying because of our economy, lack of jobs and no health care. • They have advocated for a total destruction of our military in this mess they inflicted upon us in Afghanistan and Iraq by replacing the draft with an all volunteer army signing a no-bid contract with Blackwater, USA. Mostly militant ex-military from all over the world, training them right here in the United States. Now I could go on and on (as you all well know.) But if you research just this information you will start to see what I mean...
Who then I ask you deserves impeachment more then any other administration in history...?
Not only do I think Bush and his entire administration need to be impeached...but placed in jail for high treason and war crimes!
Now back to Senator Obama...even though I disagreed with his comment made in June 2007, I did start to understand the rational thinking behind his statement. They are called priorities. If Obama has a chance to win this historic presidential race, he will have to tread lightly. And with the catastrophic damage that has been done already to our people and our Constitution; a few more months hopefully, Bush and his administration will not make to much more damage. This is only if the Democratic Congress can continue to run damage control until then...
What I did not understand at first is why impeachment was taken off the table by Speaker of the House Pelosi (D). That sent a clear message directly to President Bush and Vice President Cheney to continue running wild, continue their illegal war in Iraq, attack and start a new war in Iran, and to do their best to keep destroying our country. The statement basically said “We won't stop you; we will just use it as political ammunition against your Republican allies running for election in 2008.”
But our representatives that did speak out did at least send a clear message that Bush and Cheney are on a very short leash and are being watched.
So the rational I am talking about is, without a serious threat of accountability, Bush can just operate as if the Republican Party actually did control Congress and they are still feeling their power, because they now know the Democrats have already committed to giving Bush and his Administration a free ride till the end of the term...
This is something like another false flag in favor of the citizens of America until we get a new administration. And again, it will be up to us “We the People of the United States” to make sure this happens...by voting for the moral person that you feel will truly represent the Americans...and not only themselves (the elitists)...
Right now I pick Senator Barack Obama, the next President of the United States...
To be fair I have to give some credit to the Democrats controlling Congress. If the Republicans still held the majority...President Bush would have already:
• Received more money for the war in Iraq in one shot with no strings attached.
• We probably would have attacked Iran already (we would be in the middle of another war)
• Alberto Gonzalez would still be the Attorney General (the robot that stated continuously, “I don’t recall Senator” during the firing of U.S. Attorney General, Testifies to Congress, Can't Remember Much.)
• Karl Rove would still be in the White House (senior advisor to President Bush)
• Romney would still be running the Pentagon (Romney-Blackwater connection)
So, I think there has been substantial progress, but, still no accountability for the wrongs that have already been done to Americans and our country.
Please sign up to impeach Dick Cheney...it is your right as a citizen and a patriot!
But please do not send any money to a Representative already in office; they already get paid to protect our rights!
