Is it really poetry 6/14/2007 3:04:16 AM
Sitting here at an unGodly hour, lungs painful, nose bleeding, I wonder is what I attempt to write really poetry or are they just rants to get the attention of readers? If the physician is to heal himself/herself is it not necessary to know the symptoms of their illness?
Are all writers crazy or is it just me? Why have I been cursed to believe there are those who are interested in my voice? Why am I now doubting my ability? Why indeed, because I can, perhaps it's because of my energy levels . Perhaps it's because of my current age. Perhaps it's because I have been fooling myself so long I begin to believe I'm a writer. Crazy is best defined I think by those who don't look inward to examine who they really are. Perhaps I'm just half crazy.
