Can't wait for Saturday Night! Well! Here I am getting ready for another Bachelor's Boot Camp (TM).
This one will be for my best friend that I've known since college. I didn't think that I'd be so nervous. I feel very humbled by this opportunity to share this experience with my closest friend as he prepares for his wedding and marriage.
This week has been full of phone calls, arrangements, coordinating speakers as well as a custom designed presentation for my friend. We happened to share a few minutes as we've done over the years just talking about how far we've come in life and how blessed we've been. We both have seen tremendous growth in each other's lives. I'm very proud of my friend having taken this step into matrimony and commitment.
We've been there for each other through some tough days, and I'm honored to share this ministry with my best friend. You know, we've often discussed how it can be so difficult for Christian men to find a sincere, Christian woman...and how good men often are misjudged in the world because of what others do.
This Bachelor's Boot Camp is going to bring together Christian men for the purpose of sharing wisdom, laughter, positivity, and prayer to help prepare my best friend and encourage him. We want to let him know that we are all here for him as he makes this step adn will be here if needed for support.
