The Wreck (continued) 3/13/2008 10:42:06 AM
This is a continuation of the car accident that I had.The pain was excrutiating. I felt like having my leg cut off. The hard backed office chairs were havoc on my back. I sat in the floor, instead of in a chair. If I sat in the brown wooden chair with padded seats my legs did not move whenever I got up. I was doubled over, when the Neurologist saw me. He laughed at me because, I couldn't straighten up.
My Dad sat waiting on me, in the waiting room, with helplessness on his face. I went home on Muscle Relaxants and Motrin. They were a joke. Neither one touched the pain. 10/22/96 I had an extreme headache for 4 days. Low back pain. I started Physical Therapy in Thomasville. I was in bed before and after therapy. The children had to ride the school bus to school. I could not stand to drive the car, the pain was so bad. I was sick on my stomach most of the time. Nausea got to be a normal routine. The ear pain got worse, especially if I had to bend over.
Barney took the van to the insurance company. They totaled the van and gave him the money to cover the van. They wanted to know, when the injury part would be settled? They called the house wanting to know, if I was ready to sign papers for the injury part the next day.
