One of my high school friends is serving in Iraq. He sent me this list and asked me to forward it to any and all. If anyone would like to help, the place to send items is listed in the memo below. Thank you! All,
Here below is a request put out by the Chaplain's office for humanitarian aid. Maybe you know some interested groups that might want a service project. They didn't put a complete address, but I would use:

With the Christmas season is now here, please inform your loved ones back home that we are stocked up on personal care items, snacks, food, & baby wipes. These items will be needed after the holiday season, but not in bulk. Our goal is to have these items available and avoid waste, and provide some relief to the post office.
Here are the immediate needs -
Orphanages:
4 all-girl orphanages: Children's clothing ages from 4 up to 13. School clothes, blouses, skirts, socks. Keep in mind, the girls here are smaller in size than back home. A typical 10 yr. from U.S. would equal about 14yr. old here. Clothes should be packaged in a large zip lock bag with sizes written on the outside in permanent marker.
Schools:
School: notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, crayons, coloring books, assorted candy, and book bags. Packaged in large zip lock bag, an example would be: 1 notebook, 1 pen, 2 pencils, 1 pencil sharpener, 1 eraser, 1 box of crayons, 1 coloring book, 1 small zip lock bag w/ assorted candy inside the larger zip lock bag and placed inside a small book bag.
Civilian hospital:
Newborn clothes up to 24 mos. packaged in large zip lock bags, with sizes written in permanent marker on bag. Example of contents: 1 onezies, 1 pr socks, 1 baby blanket, 1 bar soap, and 1 teething ring.
