Traveling to Spain

The best time to plan a trip to Spain is now. Winter is making its way out and the warm weather is making its way in. So let’s get the morocco’s out and start planning a fabulous trip to remember.

You'll be impressed by fabulous art, delicious cuisine and incredible architecture during your vacation in Spain. Spain is amazing and it will be a time you will never forget. Go dressy casual when touring this popular European country.

Tip to remember when traveling to Spain:

1. Weather - Summers are very hot, particularly in the inland areas. You may still need a sweater or light jacket if seaside or in the mountain regions.
2. Fashion – Bright sundresses and bright colors for your trip, as fashion and style are a must especially, in the major cities. Women might consider printed skirts and halter tops in lightweight materials. Men might go for cotton or linen shorts, as well as short-sleeved button-down shirts and printed T-shirts.
3. Shoes – Bring comfortable walking shoes for touring the sites. (Women: wedge slip-on, sandals and heels for evenings out). Men should wear leather sandals or leather slip-on shoes. There is a lot of walking going on in Spain.
4. Extra Accessories - Remember to bring a sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen with you when you go to Spain.
5. Clothes - Pack longer skirts and pants to wear for visiting churches, as you may not be allowed to enter in shorts.

Bring a carry-on bag that includes all necessities - such as your passport, a change of clothes, all medications, spare contact lenses or glasses, all forms of money and any important documents - in case your luggage goes astray. This happen to me and it was a nightmare.

Pack to accommodate your needs. Leave valuable items at home. I have heard many stories about pick-pocketers, so watch out! And don’t forget to have an umbrella handy when traveling to Spain. I heard it tends to rain often.
