Cherry Juice 3/6/2010 9:52:17 AM
Tricks of The Trade.... As everyone whom knows me...knows....
I make the very best Margarita.
I use:
Patron Silver Tequilla
Tres Generaciones Tequilla
Aņejo Tequilla (I like Kirkland Brand)
Grand Marnier
Cointreau Liqueur
TI always have fresh limes in my house
& fresh fruits
& Last But Not Least The Star of the Show:
Marashino Cherries!! Not just any brand will do either!
I Love The Big Plump "Premium Star" brand from Costco
I buy 2 big jars (they sell them in 2's)
Each Jar is 2 pounds of Cherries on the Stem in Juice.
I take may Marashino Cherries out of their jar
& I place them into a Mason Jars. Now in the Mason Jars
I now pour Disaranno Amaretto into my Marashino Cherries.
Sometimes I mix my tequillas in the Mason Jars.
CHILL!!!!....
Now have a sit....time for a cocktail!!
I use a shot glass to measure my liquors.
1 shot from each bottle of liquor.
I place these 1 shooters into a Mason 1/2 quart jar
Fill my cool cup with ice
add some sugar free juices a tad over half full
I especially love Orange Mango Peach
Then I add the tequilla/liquor mixes to make glass 3/4 full
now I roll my lime on a towell
I slice that & squeeze into the glass toss in the peel
slice some fresh oranges & squeeze that in too
Now the Star....those chilled spiked Marashino Cherries
MMMMM...........
I like to mix it up too with fresh cranberries :)
anyhow...did you want to make brownies?
This post was supposed to be about brownies actually
I save my Marashino Cherry Juice & in place of water for
my browines I use the Marashino Cherry Juice...
They taste great & are moist & chewy!!
I also remove my brownies 3-5 minutes earlier than the packed bake times recommend.
There is nothing worse than a dry brownie!!
Till Next time Have a Movin & Groovin Day...
