What ever is a girl to do? 10/19/2010 5:25:35 PM
I am woman hear me roar! Or is it here me roar? The thought always did make me smile... I enjoy playing with words. Above is the same sentence that when spoke has one meaning and yet when it is written down, the entire meaning changes.
There is a scripture I love to write out two way also: Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning; "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the mourning."
Both of these put a time limit on sadness, but one ends much differently than the other. The first one tells us that after you've cried all night, joy, no more sadness will vanish with the sunrise. The second one says that even while you're weeping, the joy of the LORD comforts you. See there is a scripture that says blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. (Matt 5:4)
Women are the bearers of eternity, for out of our womb comes life. I tried to see it this way, barer of eternity, but for some reason something got lost in translation, unless you can give me something...
Women are strange and wonderful creatures. We are complex and simple.
I make my man smile. I'm trying to raise my nine year old to see herself as beautiful, 'cuz I did not. I was told I was fat all of my life because God blessed me with hips and thighs from the womb... my daughter is slim and tall. I want to cultivate a love of self in her. God made her just the way he wanted and you know what? It's all good.
